Mimi I was pleasantly surprised by the thick feeling pad . It has good weight to it and feels like a cotton top - even though it�??s polyester . I wanted to find a mattress pad with NO WATERPROOF to it ! I also wanted a pad that had some thickness to it - not just flat fluff! This came in a plastic zip bag and I took it out and �??fluffed�?� it in the dryer on medium heat for 20 minutes. It came out so nice , small , thick diamond puffs . I bought a twin size - fit perfectly across my 15 inch mattress plus I have a foam 1.5 inch topper . When I laid on it , you can feel the support and puffiness- squishy feeling ! If you have a bed with a memory foam topper on it and it�??s still uncomfortable- buy this pad - it makes it much nicer for comfort ! I�??ve been looking for several years and sent back at least 15 pads claiming softness and comfort but they all failed ! Finally , after all those returns - I�??ll finally found one ! I liked it so much - bought another !

ElephantBear This is good quality for the price�??you get a thin pad + a mattress cover. I can�??t speak for how well the fit is because I accidentally ordered a twin xl and made it work for my twin. If you�??re buying this for padding, you may be better off buying an actual foam mattress topper. But if you�??re looking to add minimal fluffiness, this will do the trick.

ClassicalEduMom Used this in my guest bedroom for the last six months and did have a live-in guest for much of that time. The pad has washed well over the duration and continues to go back on the bed without shrinkage being a problem. The elastic has held up well. Good purchase!
